    Ladies and gentlemen,

Today is a great day for all of us, because our dream for almost 3 years of having Stop Smoking Advocacy Unit at COHP has come true. At the beginning this dream has been so tough to be realized. Thank to  WHO, South East Tobacco Control (SEATCA), Union, TCSC (Tobacco Control Support Centre), QTI, Bloomberg (Training Grant at John Hopkins USA), YLKI, LPA, MOH of Indonesia, and Provincial Health Office of Central Java that give a bulk support to realize our dream.

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

Our vision is to work on eradication of our smoker generation and to eliminate tobacco related impact in all aspects.

    Our missions:

    1. To increase awareness on tobacco hazard related impact in all aspects
    2. To analyze policy on control, use and distribution of tobacco in Indonesia
    3. To build network on tobacco control and prevention.

    Distinguish guests,

To implement our vision and mission of stop smoking advocation, we want to conduct many activities such as:

    1. Training on strategy to develop free smoking are
    2. Training on advocacy to develop free smoking area
    3. Training on empowering vulnerable people from hazard of cigarette smoking
    4. Training on mentoring client to stop smoking

We hope that all parties will continue to support our effort on our campus free smoking program.
