In the Javanese songs, Mocopat have 11th classes of the song which is describe the course of human life,  start from in the womb of the mother until the death come to find the God the Almighty, that is:

1. Maskumambang, Symbolizing the embryos that are still in the womb of the mother,  the unknown male or female embryos. Mas, meaning the unknown of male or female, while Kumambang, meaning that the life was in the nature of the mother’s womb.
2. Mijil, Means that the world is born as male or female genders.
3. Kinanthi, Derived from the word brought or lead by the other(”kanthi”), which means it is guided in order to walk in this world.
4. Sinom, Means that the youth/teen, here are important for teens to be demanding of the highest science.
5. Asmaradana, Means having a sense of love for each other that both men and women(”asmara”), because they have the willingness / the nature of the almighty.
6. Gambuh, Derived from the word of connect / fit just right(”jumbuh”), which means that the  marriage is subsequently arranged between men and women who have loved each other, it is be hope to forge a lasting life.
7. Dandanggula, Describing someone who in  the happiness moment, whatever could ideally been done. Having a partner, owning a home, living with a sufficiency/adequacy of life for the families. So someone who finds happiness can be said is like the song of dandanggula.
8. Durma, Derived from the word of givers(”darma”). Someone who feels the adequacy/sufficiency of her life then moved the compassion to relatives who are suffering/insufficient, so excited to help and giving the hand to anyone. All of the aid that is given according to the teachings of the religion and social sense to others.
9. Pangkur, derived from the word of leave(”mungkur”), which means avoiding the passions of wrath, all of the thinking always the willingness how to help the people.
10. Megatruh, Derived from the word of the spirit or die off, because it’s the time of summoned to the Almighty.
11. Pucung, That is the moment of death, when the dead body is wrapped with white cloth or “dipocong” before burial.

When the life is born just like the rising of the sun, at the same moment the death will come just like the time of the sunset. So, be a good  people, the people of the God, do always, in the way of the Almighty.

Diskripsi Singkat            :
Pengetahuan mengenai bioteknologi pakan, mencakup aspek dasar-dasar rekayasa genetika dan teknik biokonvers, serta aplikasi bioteknologi dalam bidang pakan. Pengenalan tentang teknik bioteknologi tanaman pakan. Pemanfaatan mikrobia dan enzim dalam biokonversi dan industri, serta penerapan teknik-teknik fermentasi, pengembangan pakan fungsional, produksi protein sel tunggal dibidang pakan pada skala laboratorium maupun industri.
Melalui pemahaman mata kuliah ini diharapkan mahasiswa akan terbuka dan tertarik pemikirannya untuk melakukan pengembangan gagasan penelitian di dalam bidang rekayasa tanaman pakan, pemanfaatan mikrobia untuk berbagia keperluan pengembangan produksi dan kualitas pakan dan bahan pakan lokal untuk mendukung penyediaan bahan pakan alternatif.

The man live  with all the life

The baby is so cute, adorable, giving the glance and beauty to the family
But being a baby is not enough for a life, get the old, fragile and dead as the end of the life are the real of life
Being old and rotten was not beautiful, so that the adult  of life, old and rotten really need to be heeded in order to give a beauty to others
Do with the own best to serve another, giving a beauty  to others is the way, the demands of duty as well as the guidance of life, be pleasure to be grateful, though not necessarily accepted by another

POLLUTANTS COMPONENT AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO THE QUALITY OF RICE BRAN AT LEVEL OF PRODUCERS AND SUPPLIERS IN CENTRAL JAVA

ABSTRACT

Research to observe the components of pollutants contained in the commodity of rice bran and its relation to the quality at the level of producers and consumers in Central Java has been done. The study was conducted by stratified random sampling based on the geographical conditions.  Districts of Pati, Tegal, Grobogan, Magelang, Cilacap and Wonogiri are disctricts as a sampling used. Producers are farmers / rice mills , while the supplier is a merchant collectors and or supplier of rice bran to feed industry or breeder. Sample of each site were taken from 3 producers and 2 suppliers with  3 times replications . The main contaminant components observed are fungus,  bugs/fleas and husk. The variables tested were relationship between contaminants and crude Protein , Crude Fibre, Extract Ether, Nitrogen Free Exctract and the relationships between CP, EE and NFE with ME values. Data were analyzed with multiple linear regression analysis (Usman and Akbar, 2000) and (Sugiyono, 2002). The results showed that at the level of producers and suppliers, samples are fungal contamination free. However, samples from producers in the district of Cilacap and Grobogan positively contaminated with the fungus. Even though bug’s contamination at the supplier level lower than the manufacturer, generally the samples have been contaminated by 5-15% of bugs.  In case of  contaminant of hull’s,  all of the observed districts indicated that the sample had been contaminated by 15-20% of husk. However, among the districts, contamination levels of rice bran of producers in Magelang and Wonogiri are quite low, that is less than 10%. The presence of contaminants such as bugs, husk and fungi, indicating the existence relationship with the crude protein both at the level of producers and suppliers, it is presence in an equation y = 8.095 -0.528 x1 + 0,328 x2 ± 0.04 x3 ± e (R2 = 0.938) and y = 5.932 + 0.16×1 + 0.475 x2 + 0.205 x3 +e (R2= 0.923). That effect on the CF of producers level is presence in y= 11.754+0.44×1 – 0.66 x 2 + 1,49 x3 + e (R2= 0,64), but not significant on the supplier level. While the presence of contaminants on the producer or supplier level exerts no  significant influence on the value of NFE and EE of the rice bran. The energy value of rice bran on the level of  producers and suppliers are affected by the content of CP, EE, NFE by the pattern of the relationship y = 102.86 + 35.39×1+79.87×2+35.50×3+e (R2 = 1) and y = 102.02 + 35.50 x1 + 79.89 x2 + 35.50 x3 + e (R2 =0.98). Contaminants affected the value of ME indirectly, that is through the crude protein content of rice bran.Keywords: pollutant, quality, rice bran

EFFECT OF STORAGE ON PHYSICAL, CHEMICAL AND MICROBIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF FISH WASTE ACIDIFIED USING FERMENTED VEGETABLES WASTE EXTRACT

ABSTRACT

Fish waste (Ikan Rucah) is part of discarded fishing product, which is composed by non-food  categorized fish (NFC-fish). Quality of NFC-fish meal that was made by dipping in extract of fermented vegetable’s waste been reported better than commercial fish meal, but the effect after storing remained in question.  Experiment was conducted to study effect of differences time of storing on physic-organoleptical, chemical and microbiological characteristics of the acidified  NFC-fish meal that was made by dipped in extract of fermented vegetable’s waste (FVW-exctract).  The experiment was carried out at the Laboratory of Feed Technology, Faculty of Animal Science, Diponegoro University. The NFC-Fish was soaked in the FVW-exctract by the ratio 1:1 (w/v) for 4 hours, and then it was dripped out and dried. The dried fish  was ground  passed through 20 mesh, kept into plastic bags and stored at the room temperature (23-25 °C and 70-80% RH) for 0, 1, 2 and 4 months. Physic-organoleptical, chemical and biologycal characteristics are parameters observed. Experiment was conducted by completely randomized design (CRD). Data were analysed by the GLM-SAS (SAS-Institute, 1982).  Actual number of moisture, crude protein, extract ether, and proteolytic bacteria of fish meal were significantly influenced by time storing (p<0.05). Dipping NFC-fish in the FVW-exctract  effectivelly maintain the physical characters, pH, moisture, crude protein, extract ether and number of proteolytic bacteria of fish meal up to 2 month of storage. Dipping NFC-fish  in the FVW-exctract provide better characteristics on physical, chemical and microbiologycal than the comercial fish meal at the same condition of storage.
