Abstract
Bali and Sasak belongs to Austronesian languages. Which the languages genetically have cognate. So there are shows sound changes, that is called phonemics correspondence. Sound changes in the Bali and Sasak languages happen with continuity. Based on the assumption, one of the method used to prove it is using comparative analysis by using phonemic correspondence technique. Based on the technique mentioned above, it was found that the formula phonemic correspondence in Bali and Sasak languages, those are:
a. *a > /ə ~ e / excpecially on position opened penultima and closed penultima, which is bilabial, palatal, dorsovelar.
b. *q > /h ~ q / on closed ultima.

DIALECT
Posted on October 24th, 2009 3 commentsThe present volume is a collection of papers presented at the Seventh Nordic Dialectology Conference held in Voss, Norway, on August 14-8, 2002. The main division is between the five invited papers and the remaining twenty-six papers and other presentations from three parallel sections. Since the overarching theme of the conference was regionalization, the five invitees were asked to address this topic in light of developments in their home countries (9). These five papers comprise about one-fourth of this volume and represent, in alphabetical order according to the names of the presenters, Swedish in Sweden, Finland-Swedish, British English, Danish, and Icelandic. The third paper in this list, “Modeller for språkendring og spredning: Nye funn fra dialektutjamning i britisk engelsk” (83-114), was given by Paul Kerswill, who was invited to provide a non-Nordic perspective, in lieu of a representative from Norway, which was, after all, the host country for the conference.
